Unleashed By Petco Coming to Laguna Niguel This Summer

Laguna Niguel has become the place for plenty ofto open as of late, but we also have quite a few pet stores in the neighborhood.

And, we're about to get another one.

To date and according to the city, there are two pet stores in Laguna Niguel, Wild's and Pet Plus, with Unleashed by Petco opening early this summer at Plaza de La Paz.

According to Gerry Flanigan, vice president of real estate with the Horowitz Group, which owns the center that also houses ,"We have executed a lease with Petco for a concept call Unleashed by Petco. They will be taking the old Euro Day Spa space. We are excited to have Unleashed as a tenant in Plaza de La Paz. We believe they will be a wonderful addition to our already great group of "

 was located at 27281 La Paz Road, Suite D, and was a 5,200 square-foot spa that went out of business in October 2010 but maintains another location at 30201 Golden Lantern St.

According to the Unleased by Petco website, "Unleashed by Petco hit the pet scene in 2009, with our first store in San Diego’s Hillcrest neighborhood. Our concept is simple – provide the same knowledge and know-how offered by Petco in a unique, smaller package."

The store offers evrything from "vaccinations and training to serving as a source for pet parties."
