Residence Inn Gets a New General Manager

The Residence Inn has a new general manager.

The corporation has announced that Grace D. Miane has taken the reins at the 1 1/2-year-old hotel right on the San Juan Capistrano-Dana Point borderline.

Miane comes from a stint as the general manager of the Residence Inn Reno in the Lake Tahoe/Reno market, overseeing a comprehensive renovation project that was completed in April 2012, according to a company press release.

She has more than 14 years’ experience managing hotels with 100 rooms or more.

“I am excited to return to California not only to work at this state-of-the-art, custom-built Residence Inn by Marriott but also to rejoin family and friends,” Miane said in a press release. “The hotel had a very successful opening in 2012 and enjoys an outstanding reputation among extended-stay guests in Orange County. I look forward to preserving that past while enhancing services and accommodations for future visitors.”
