Part two of Laguna Niguel-based SCP Auctions’ sale of the legendary Celtics coach's collection continues through July 13.

If you missed an opportunity the first time around to own a piece of Boston Celtics basketball legend Red Auerbach's personal collection, here's a second chance.

is featuring part two of the Red Auerbach collection, along with 800 lots of cards and other memorabilia.

SCP Auctions’ said its April offering of the Auerbach collection drew an  overwhelming response from collectors and fans of the Celtics coach.

Highlights from part two of the Auerbach collection sale include:

  • 1976 Boston Celtics World Championship ring
  • 1953 inaugural All-Star game humidor
  • 1971 NBA silver-anniversary Coaches Award
  • Engraved 1980-81 Longines Boston Celtics World Champions watch
  • NBA 35th-anniversary “Greatest Coach in NBA History” presentational Hamilton watch
  • 1981 Celtics World Champions desk clock presented by Boston Mayor Kevin White

I hit enter in the comment and it posted - I wasn't done! Why would it post if you don't clickRead More "post comment"?! I read one story and the scrunched up left placement gave me a headache. The ad column on the right is way too big - too wide. If they made that smaller, swapped the "board" column and the news (so the news was in the middle), I think it would be easier to read.
