Nolet Helps Raise $1.2 Million for Mission Hospital

Laguna Niguel residents Carl and Janet Nolet helped raise $1.2 million for Mission Hospital's Neuroscience and Spine Institute last month, according to a Thursday announcement.

The pair were honored guests of this year's black-tie holiday gala at the St. Regis Monarch Beach on Dec. 14. Over 600 guests attended, according to the event's organizers.

The evening included a Paddle Call that raised $86,850 led by donors Barry and Valerie Hon and Jim and Sara Sullivan.

Carl Nolet, Jr. is the 11th-generation owner of Nolet Spirits, makers of Ketel One Vodka and Nolet's Silver Dry Gin.

The Nolet family has been a longtime benefactor of the hospital.

Guests during the gala also watched a video about Adam Williams. A motorcycle accident at 18 led to a traumatic brain injury. Williams recovered at Mission and his mother Nancy became one of the Neuroscience Institute's sponsors.
