Laguna Niguel Census Data Will Be out Soon

How has the city changed since the last census, 10 years ago? The specifics will be out Tuesday, March 8.

The U.S. Census Bureau will release its 2010 statistics for California on Tuesday, March 8, so if you are curious about how the city has changed, stay tuned.

The  U.S. Census Bureau's 2000 general demographics summary reported that Laguna Niguel had a population of 61,891, the median age was 37.5 and there were more women than men. The total number of women was 31,754, or 51.3 percent of the population, and the number of males was 30,137, or 48.7 percent.

The data will include summaries of population totals, as well as data on race, Hispanic origin and voting age for multiple geographies within the state, such as census blocks, tracts, voting districts, cities, counties and school districts.
