A new café is planning to open in place of Café Neff at the Laguna Design Center, 23811 Aliso Creek Road.
Café Fresca is bringing some changes to suite 122, including beer, wine and live music.
Future owner Kathy Martino is still waiting for the state to approve the business's alcohol license.
The project was approved by the Laguna Niguel Community Development Department on December 6, 2013.
