Frugal Family: This Week's Deals

From bakery discounts to steaks, here's a list of this week's Frugal Family finds.

1.  at La Paz and Pacific Park     

Deal:  $3 off a Corner Bakery lunch or dinner entrée. $2 off Corner Bakery breakfast.  $10 off a catering order of $75 or more. Good through: April 10. Must use the coupons mailed to residents.

Deal:  Lots of BOGOs—that means buy one, get one FREE! Includes grilled breakfast sandwich, sourdough Jack sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, biscuit sandwich, dessert with the purchase of  an All-American Jack combo, FREE regular size ice cream shake with any purchase. Good through: April 24.  Must use coupons that arrived in Feb. 22 mail.

   Deal:  For only 48 hours, while supplies last, no rain checks:  boneless pork sirloin roast or chops $1.99 per pound, Foster Farms deli-sliced sun-dried tomato turkey $3.99/per pound, fresh tilapia fillets $4.99 per pound. Good through:  Feb. 24 and Feb. 25

5.  If you are looking for a great bargain on a gently used book, consider visiting the It has relocated to Town Center while the library is being renovated.  You will find a brightly lighted space, with the shelves neatly arranged by subject matter.  One recent find was a Best of Bon Appetit Cookbook for 50 cents. The selections vary, but often there are recent magazines for just pennies, CDs, DVDs and other treasures.  It's a gem right in our town!
