Big, bold burgers from Five Guys Burgers and Fries lead the pack according to a new survey.
is tops says Market Force Information, a company specializing in customer intelligence solutions. In a quick-service restaurant industry survey of more than 7,600 U.S. consumers, Market Force found that Five Guys is its favorite burger chain including folks in the West.
Five Guys earned the No. 1 spot in the Market Force study.
Yep, it even beat out In-N-Out and Fuddrucker's in the West.
The chain specializes burgers and fries, and took up residence in the former store that moved to an old Sprint store.
Five Guys corporate office boasts that none of its food is ever frozen and its burgers are 100 percent beef. Each patty is prepared on site and the Idaho potatoes are cut into fries daily. Orders can be placed online at Fiveguys.com and then picked up from an express window inside.
Dining in is also welcome at the 1950s-themed restaurant, which also serves kosher hot dogs, a veggie sandwich and a kids menu.
The survey was conducted in August across the United States. The pool of 7,600 respondents reflected a broad spectrum of income levels, with half reporting household incomes of more than $50,000 a year.
Respondents’ ages ranged from 19 to over 65. About one-quarter were men and 75 percent were women, and 73 percent reported working full or part time. Half of the respondents have children at home and more than two-thirds are married.
