First Responders Eat Free Thursday at Laguna Niguel Fast Food Place

If you're one of the first to treat people during emergencies, Chick-Fil-A will treat you and your family to a free menu item Thursday.

All 17 Orange County Chick-Fil-A restaurants are participating in "Putting Heroes First" from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The location at 28201 Crown Valley Pkwy in Laguna Niguel will also provide music and possibly a craft project or other activity for kids, owner Casey Hughes said.

First responders like police officers and EMTs should bring proof of their employment, he said.

"We'll take care of the rest," Hughes said.

Those that qualify can pick one free original sandwich or spicy sandwich, Hughes said. Kids can order a free four-piece of chicken nuggets.

"We love doing stuff that supports the community and especially guys and gals busting their butts every day to keep us safe," he said.

Those with questions can reach the local restaurant at (949) 448-8447.
