Calling All Career Hunters: Head to the L.N. Youth Committee Job Fair

Laguna Niguel Patch and other local businesses will be on hand to talk to teens about career options today.

Students exploring job or volunteer opportunities will find options at free Job and Career Fair attoday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Thirteen businesses, including Laguna Niguel Patch and will be on hand at the school to talk about possible part-time employment, internships and volunteer opportunities.

In addition, Working Wardrobe will give a 20-minute presentation about how to make a good first impression with body language, how to wear your hair, makeup, what clothes not to wear, and even how to approach a business to ask for an application.

Also confirmed is John Krafcik, president of Hyundai North America, who will give a short presentation.

The event is being hosted by the Laguna Niguel Youth Committee, which was established by the City Council.

"Our goal is to educate our future workforce in the numerous opportunities for summer employment, internships, and the exploration of specific career paths," said Parks and Recreation Supervisor Gretchen Malcom.
