Local tech company, Iconosys develops New Year's Buzzer a tracking and countdown system.
Need an easy way to countdown to New Year's?
With 2012 just a few days away, Laguna Niguel-based Iconosys, a Smartphone and tablet app technology company offers up its last app of 2011, the New Year's Buzzer.
It is essentially a countdown and tracking system for New Year's resolutions to assist in promoting positive health, according to a company news release.

"This new app New Year's Buzzer delivers regular self-tracked affirmations encouraging users to continue adherence to their yearend commitments and growth.

NEW YEAR'S BUZZER FEATURES:
- New Year's Buzzer: uses proprietary technology to integrate and maximize the app's social reach by giving the user the ability to send simultaneous Happy New Year's wishes to anyone and everyone in their contacts list. Everyone gets to feel that they were the most important person to that New Year's Buzzer user.
- The app user can place and track 2012 New Year's resolutions. A daily tracking prompt is presented where the user can confirm that they kept their personal commitment to bettering themselves. Celebratory congratulations are given each day where the resolution is kept.
- New Year's Buzzer: keeps a New Year's countdown running as a service in the background and resets for 2013 after the new year.
