4 Places to Enjoy Christmas Eve Dinner in Laguna Niguel and Dana Point

Too tired to make dinner? No problem, these local venues have you covered with a meal you won't forget.

The gifts are wrapped, the tree sparkling bright and the halls are decked. Now what?

The last thing you want to do is cook, right? Well, you don't have to thanks to some local venues serving Christmas Eve dinner. From salmon and lobster to three-course meals, there are a few places to dine in Dana Point and Laguna Niguel tonight.

Vue Restaurant at Laguna Cliffs Marriott, 25135 Park Lantern, Dana Point. Christmas Eve menu includes a choice of appetizer, salad and entrée. Entrée items include Skuna Bay salmon, prawn linguini, Kobe short ribs, coffee crusted rib-eye, filet mignon, filet mignon and lobster, and free-range chicken. Savannah Chop House, 32441 Golden Lantern, Laguna Niguel. Christmas Eve dinner at Savannah Chop House features a three-or-four-course menu. Meals feature your choice of first course, entrée and dessert, the four-course menu adds a second course choice. Entrée selections include grilled local sea bass, pecan and applewood smoked prime rib, citrus baked salmon, lamb chops and chipotle jidori chicken. Hours: 4 to 9 p.m. Three-courses: $37 per person; Four-courses: $47 per person. Reservations required. Call 949-493-7107.

The Motif at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort will have holiday favorites and even some new inspirations from Executive Chef Frederic Castan for Christmas Eve dinner. The first seating will start 5:30 p.m. and the second will be at 8 p.m. Call 949-234-3200.

Stonehill Tavern at St. Regis Monarch Beach The menu prepared by Executive Chef Raj Dixit will feature a holiday tasting menu including mache, spiny lobster, pheasant au vin, rack of Colorado lamb and chocolate peppermint sponge cake. I hit enter in the comment and it posted - I wasn't done! Why would it post if you don't clickRead More "post comment"?! I read one story and the scrunched up left placement gave me a headache. The ad column on the right is way too big - too wide. If they made that smaller, swapped the "board" column and the news (so the news was in the middle), I think it would be easier to read.
