Car enthusiasts gathered under warm spring skies Saturday to ooh and ahh dozens of vehicles at this year's Doheny Wood auto show at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point.
More than 100 wood-paneled (or fake wood-paneled) cars were on display at the free event, where the star attraction was a 1950 Plymouth Woody owned by Rick Seborg of Carlsbad.
The show was hosted by the Southern California Woodie Club. Visitors dined on pancakes, watched surfers and relived days gone by. The only thing missing was the Beach Boys.
