POLL RESULTS: Ruby Slippers Trump Rhett Butler

Almost 90 people took our poll asking which film was the greatest of all time, 'The Wizard of Oz' or 'Gone With the Wind. Read on to see the results.

It looks like Dorothy Gale still has what it takes to win audiences over 72 years later.

Last week Laguna Niguel Patch conducted a asking readers which film they thought was the greatest of all time, the Wizard of Oz or Gone With the Wind.

We were curious what they might say after we reported that one of the last surviving Munchkins, Karl Slover, 93, had died. Locally, 80, of Dana Point actually appeared in Oz when she was a mere 7 years old as a Little Person. She also recalled memories of Slover and her time on the movie's set.

The votes were tallied and 62 readers gave their thumbs up for Oz while 27 put their stock in  Gone With The Wind.

Aunt 'Em would be proud.
