Lights, Camera, Action: Dana Point Boat Parade of Lights Tonight

The 38th annual harbor boat parade is Saturday, Dec. 15, starting at 7:30 p.m. and is a free event.

Get you video cams ready the 38th Annual Dana Point Harbor Boat Parade of Lights is tonight at 7:30 at Dana Point Harbor, 34555 Golden Lantern St.

This year's theme is: A Hollywood Holiday, Lights, Camera, Action!

Boaters from all around Orange County decorate their boats and vie for the awards: of Judges Choice, Best Theme, Best Use of Lights, Best Animation, Most Colorful, Most Original, Best Sailboat, Best Powerboat and the Perpetual Trophy for the Yacht Club with the Most Entries, along with many other awards and cash prizes.

You can view the parade free from anywhere in the harbor, or make reservations at any of the harbor restaurants to view it from a cozy and warm spot. 

Come on down and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season!

The event is free.

I hit enter in the comment and it posted - I wasn't done! Why would it post if you don't clickRead More "post comment"?! I read one story and the scrunched up left placement gave me a headache. The ad column on the right is way too big - too wide. If they made that smaller, swapped the "board" column and the news (so the news was in the middle), I think it would be easier to read.
