Grab & Go: Fun Things to Do This Weekend, March 11-13

From a carnival to a home tour, there's a lot going on this weekend for families.

This crazy weather is making it difficult to plan any outdoor activities!  Hot one day and cloudy and rain the next.  Be willing to be flexible and go with the flow.

1.  Friday, March 11, Way to Play Fridays at Pretend City, Irvine.  On the second Friday of every month, Pretend City hosts Way to Play Days.  Way to Play Days highlight a particular developmental skill, such as communications, and offers community specialists for on-site support.  It's a great opportunity to learn more about your child's growth and development while interacting with your child in a variety of fun activities.  Simple play activities with your child can make a world of difference for  development.  You can also earn two free Pretend City admissions by attending a Way to Play Day event and completing a questionnaire with your child.  No RSVP is required for this event,  and anyone can join in on the fun with paid admission to Pretend City.

2.  Saturday, March 12, Free Craft for Kids at Lakeshore Learning, Laguna Hills from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Every Saturday,  Lakeshore Leaning hosts a free craft for kids.  This Saturday's event is called "Show Your Colors!  Peacock."  Kids will be proud as peacocks to show off a collage creation made with colorful feathers, wiggly eyes and glitter paint.   lakeshorelearning.com, 949-462-9353.
