Grab & Go: Nature Walks and Child's Day Celebration This Weekend

Saturday, April 28, Nature Walk from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.  Join the O’Neill Regional Park naturalists on a free nature walk and learn about Trabuco Canyon animals and nature on a light to moderate walk on mostly paved roads. Saturday, April 28,  5th Day of the Child Celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Join in on the “Day of the Child – Treasure of the Future,” day tomorrow. The mission of this group is to empower and inspire at-risk youth and families in San Juan Capistrano and the surrounding areas. Live family entertainment, food, booths and activities will be provided for the kids. Kids are free, adults minimum donation $1. The Saturday night campfire program may include a slide presentation, wilderness safety, games and activities for children, animal adaptations, skins and skulls, a live animal demonstration and a chance to visit the Nature Center.
