Woman on Bicycle Rifles Through Mailboxes

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Aug.14-15.

A caller reported that a 20-year-old woman on bicycle was rifling through mailboxes. The incident occurred on Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 11:47 p.m. on the street of the Amber Lantern in Dana Point.

Wednesday, Aug.15:

Citizen Assist 9:32 p.m. Camino del Avion/Street of the Golden Lantern. A man reported that a man pushed a shopping cart into his vehicle outside the 24 Hour Fitness. The subject refused to share his information and the caller requested a deputy to retrieve it.

Citizen Assist 5:55 p.m. 24800 block of Del Prado. A transient reported that her boyfriend beats her up and she wanted to buy a gun, and kill him for doing so. (Dana Point)

Suspicious Person 11:13 a.m. 34300 block of Pacific Coast Highway. 2 males in a Red Explorer were selling stereos from the rear of their vehicle. The caller suspected they were selling stolen property. (Dana Point)

Tuesday, Aug. 14:

Suspicious Person 5:57 p.m. Marina Hills Drive/Street of the Golden Lantern. A man reported that numerous people were gathered in the alley behind the bushes by Albertsons, and looking at unknown items in a metal case. When the man drove past, he was given the “stink eye.”

Suspicious Person 5:22 p.m. Rancho Niguel Road/Moulton Parkway. A caller reported that two subjects were using heroin in the men’s restroom by the community pool, at Expressions Condos. She stated that her children walked in on them. One was male and wearing a white hat and no shirt, and the other, a female, had black hair. The caller stated that the male was currently sitting in front of the pool, and suspected that he was waiting to make a drug deal.
