Elephant Statues Safe and Sound, Displayed at Nokia Plaza

It turns out the elephant statues gone missing Monday night didn't travel far.

The statues painted by celebrities and artists, including Khloe Kardashian and Laura Seeley of Dana Point were placed on display at L.A. Live's Nokia Plaza and will be returned Monday.

The Elephant Parade's publicist, Blaze PR, originally announced that six elephants had disappeared from their Dana Point display spots Tuesday morning.

"Early this morning, 6 life-size, beautifully painted baby elephant statues were discovered missing," the announcement read. "The missing statues... were to be auctioned off."

The elephants are part of an 83-statue collection that will be auctioned off Nov. 17. Proceeds will benefit the Asian Elephant Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to the conservation and well being of Asian elephants.
