Veterans Day Laguna Niguel Style

The city's inaugural Veterans Day commemoration will be at the City Hall Amphitheater, Sunday, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to noon.

Laguna Niguel's inaugural Veterans Day commemoration at the , is Sunday, Nov. from 11 a.m. to noon.

The building will be open during that time for the event, only.

On hand will be Boy Scouts from Laguna Niguel Troop 772 who will open and close the event by performing the flag ceremony.

Also attending, a number of Pearl Harbor survivors from the Freedom Committee of Orange County to share accounts with those attending.

If happen to be in Dana Point around 10 a.m. near The Ocean Institute, it is offering free admission to visitors with military identification and their immediate family members, 24200 Dana Point Harbor Drive. Contact: (949) 496-2274.

Orange County Parks is also offering veterans and current service members free entry on Sunday, Nov. 11 to the following parks: Carbon Canyon, Clark, Craig, Irvine, Laguna Niguel, Mason, Mile Square, Santiago Oaks and Yorba regional parks.
