Suspicious Man Tries Opening Car Doors

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department on April 2.

A caller reported that a male was walking around a parking lot, trying to open car doors. He entered a black Dodge sedan, pulled around the block and parked again. He walked back and forth more than 100 times and pulled out of the parking lot 20-plus times. The subject was in his 30s, with blond, curly hair and was wearing a beanie, a reddish flannel shirt and jeans. The incident occurred at 11:48 a.m. in the 25300 block of Dana Point Harbor Drive in Dana Point.

Disturbance-Auto Involved 6:03 a.m. 28100 block of Soledad Street. A caller reported that a driver of a white Mustang was screeching around the property. Subjects in the vehicle were also yelling at each other.

Drunk Driving 4:28 p.m. Niguel Road/Beacon Hill Way. The driver of a 4-door silver Hyundai was all over the road and almost hit the curb three times. The subject was a 45-year-old male.

Suspicious Person In Vehicle 12:43 p.m. 33500 block of the street of the Blue Lantern . A caller reported that two men in an older gold Mercedes were digging through the trash cans in the alley behind the location. (Dana Point)
