U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service is recalling some 5-oz. cans of “Armour Vienna Sausage Bourbon BBQ Flavored” due to possibly being undercooked.

Information provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service

Pinnacle Foods Group LLC a Fort Madison, Iowa establishment, is recalling about 90,975 pounds of bourbon barbecue sausage products because they may have been underprocessed, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service reports.

The products sold at Walmart stores natiowide including the location in Laguna Niguel subject to recall include:

5-oz. cans of “Armour Vienna Sausage Bourbon BBQ Flavored” (24 per case).

Each can bears the establishment number "P-4247" inside the USDA mark of inspection, a UPC Code of “54100 93824” and a Use By date of Sept. 7, 2015. The products subject to recall were produced on Sept. 7, 2012.

The problem was discovered by the company. The company believes the problem occurred as a result of processing time miscalculations that caused the product to be undercooked during the production process. FSIS and the company have received no reports of illnesses due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an illness should contact a healthcare provider.

Consumers with questions about the recall should contact the company at 1 (888) 299-7646 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Eastern Time) Monday through Friday.

I hit enter in the comment and it posted - I wasn't done! Why would it post if you don't clickRead More "post comment"?! I read one story and the scrunched up left placement gave me a headache. The ad column on the right is way too big - too wide. If they made that smaller, swapped the "board" column and the news (so the news was in the middle), I think it would be easier to read.

With the ad block on the right and the boards info in the middle, it feels like the news part isRead More scrunched too far to the left.
