Man Hits Dog With Metal Leash

A caller reported that a man was hitting his dog with a metal leash and the dog could be heard yelping from across the street. The caller was unsure of the actual address, but the owner’s house had a blue awning and brown fence.  O.C. Animal Control was advised. The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 8 at 11:24 p.m. at the 33800 block of Alcazar Drive in Dana Point.

Thursday, Aug. 9: 

Suspicious Odor 12:09 p.m. 24200 block of El Pilar. A caller reported that a chemical smell was coming from the unit below. 

Disturbance 3:11 p.m. 100 block of Seafare. A man reported that his girlfriend threw all his stuff away and left in her black Scion. He thought she was at the leasing office. 

Disturbance 10:53 a.m. 34000 block of Doheny Park Road. A caller reported that a man with long hair was screaming, yelling and swinging his fists at people around him at Donut World. (Dana Point) 

Wednesday, Aug. 8:

Assist Outside Agency 12:32 p.m. 23600 block of Pacific Island Drive. An elderly man experienced heat exhaustion and was confused at the OCFA station. His wife was located and enroute. 

Suspicious Person 11:58 p.m. Cabot Road/Crown Valley Parkway. A caller reported that two women were drinking at Power Plant and believed they were underage.
