Homemade Incendiary Device in Trash Can

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from February 23–24.

At 5:09 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23 0 block of Corfu. A caller reported that a subject possibly created a homemade incendiary device. It detonated in the trash can at the dog park behind the location. The subject was seen running towards Chapparossa Park.

Sunday, Feb. 24:

Suspicious Person 11:00 a.m. 30900 block of Club House Drive. A caller reported that his neighbor was videotaping her and her residence.

Disturbance 2:33 p.m. 34200 block of El Molino. A caller reported that her neighbor was hammering something on her fence. (Dana Point)

Theft At 4:48 p.m., a caller reported that a male took a black mountain bike for a test drive and never returned. At the time of the reported incident, he had been gone for 2 hours. The incident occurred at the 34100 block of La Plaza at Cycle Logical Bikes in Dana Point.

Saturday, Feb. 23:

Citizen Assist 7:09 p.m. 0 block of Palisades. A caller reported malicious mischief. A group of the same juveniles kept urinating and defecating on his house. The caller was out of breath after chasing them down the street.
