Labrador Caught in Fence, Bleeding From Neck

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from July 19-20.

A man reported that his neighbor’s yellow labrador retriever was caught in the fence, and was bleeding from the neck. The owner wasn’t home at the time, but O.C. Animal Control was able to get the dog out. The incident occurred on Friday, July 20, at 1 p.m. at the 25600 block of Seaside Drive in Dana Point.

Friday, July 20:

Suspicious Person 5:25 p.m. Alicia Parkway/Kite Hill Drive North. A man reported that a loud explosion came from the storm drain near the corner of Alicia. He could see smoke coming from the drain. Southern California Edison was dispatched.

Reckless Driving 3:22 p.m. Street of the Golden Lantern/Hidden Hills Road. A man reported that the driver of a white Toyota Tacoma threw a Rock Star can at his vehicle, in a fit of road rage.

Suspicious Person 9:29 a.m. 34300 block of Pacific Coast Highway. A caller from heard someone on the roof and thought it might be transients stealing copper wiring. (Dana Point)

Thursday, July 19:

Suspicious Person 4:38 p.m. 29200 block of Crown Valley Parkway. A caller reported that subjects were throwing beer bottles over the wall into playground.

Disturbance 8:44 p.m. 24800 block of Hidden Hills Road. A man reported that a tow truck was attempting to tow his vehicle while he was still inside.
