Caller Reports Possible Poisoned Dog Treats

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department on April 3.

Here are more items from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department blotter. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Animal Control reported that a caller believed someone threw dog treats in her backyard that contained poison. The caller demanded that a deputy come out to the location, because her grandchild also plays in the yard and could have eaten the treats. The incident occurred at 11:36 p.m. at the 33600 block of the street of the Blue Lantern in Dana Point.

Wednesday, April 3:

Disturbance 7:26 p.m. 24700 block of Rancho Niguel Road. A caller reported that a man was playing with his two unleashed dogs, and was throwing a ball which kept hitting vehicles.

Suspicious Person In Vehicle 5:50 p.m. 27400 block of Alicia Parkway. A Walmart associate reported that he witnessed three males in a silver vehicle injecting drugs with a needle. They were in the parking lot.

Unknown Trouble 4:02 p.m. La Cresta Drive/street of the Golden Lantern. A caller reported that two males were running in the alley and pulling out handguns. They were also possibly chasing an unknown subject. (Dana Point)
