Here are more items from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department blotter. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.
A caller reported that someone left bones in front of her door. It was unknown to whom they belonged. The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 19 at 6:28 p.m. at the 24400 block of Sunshine Drive.
Wednesday, Feb. 20:
Terrorist Threats 7:39 p.m. 27800 block of Rural Lane. A caller reported that he was receiving calls from an ex-tenant friend who threatened to bomb his house and hurt him. The caller believed the ex-tenant was residing in Lake Elsinore.
Suspicious Person 6:17 p.m. 33800 block of Robles Drive. A caller reported that a male in his mid 20s was carrying a can surrounded by paper. He jumped out at her when she was walking at Violet Lantern Park. She noticed a fishing line was positioned across the path as if to trip people. When she avoided it, he jumped out, and then ran home. The man was eventually arrested and released. (Dana Point)
Tuesday, Feb. 19:
Traffic Hazard 8:19 a.m. Crown Valley Parkway/Camino del Avion. A caller reported that a small dog was dead in the left lane. Animal Control was advised.
Suspicious Person 1:21 p.m. Selva Road/Pacific Coast Highway. A caller reported that a subject was wearing a fencing mask, dark shirt, and white pants and was standing on the corner. (Dana Point)
