Baby Sea Lion Spectacle in Parking Lot

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department on March 26.

Here are more items from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department blotter. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

A caller reported that a baby sea lion was in the parking lot at Dana Point Harbor. He was concerned that it would get run over. The incident occurred at 8:18 p.m. at the 25000 block of Dana Drive in Dana Point.

Citizen Assist 3:17 p.m. 0 block of Flamingo Court. A caller reported that his 9-year-old autistic daughter was on the roof. She had a tough day at school and wanted to get away from people. He was unable to convince her to come down.

Suspicious Person 2:58 p.m. 24600 block of Via Carlos. A caller reported that someone was sending inappropriate picture messages to his 10-year-old daughter.

Citizen Assist 9:39 p.m. 33900 block of Orilla Road. A caller reported that a male and female in their 30’s came to his house trying to share information about Scientology. The caller stated that he had not been involved with it for over 40 years. The couple attempted to play a recording but the batteries were dead, and then without warning, they ran out the door. (Dana Point)  

Disturbance 2:32 a.m. 25200 block of Perch Drive. A caller stated that she picked up her boyfriend from his friend’s house and drove him home. He then punched her in the face, broke her windshield and took off running down the street. The subject was 28 years old and was wearing a brown and green shirt, black jacket, a beanie and jeans. (Dana Point)
