Diana Wright, CCAM, with Action Property Management in Laguna Niguel was honored with a statewide Vision Award last night by the California Association of Community Managers. Now in its 22nd year, the Vision Awards are presented to the “best of the best” in community association management throughout California. Wright was honored with the organization’s “Spirit Award.” Wright earned CACM’s high-rise and large-scale management specialty certificates while managing a 232-unit high rise and its 23-member staff.
The awards ceremony was held at the Disneyland Hotel and Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif., as part of CACM’s Statewide EXPO and Conference which draws hundreds of community managers and HOA product and service providers each year. This year’s Vision Awards competition drew close to70 nominations. CACM’s Vision Awards are the only industry awards that focus strictly on community management for the state of California, now home to more than 48,000 homeowners associations.
“CACM’s Vision Awards recognize those members who have demonstrated professionalism, creativity and dedication that go way beyond what’s expected in their normal scope of work,” Conlon said. “The Vision Awards are an opportunity to honor professionals who consistently overcome the unique challenges of working in this industry in California, creating better communities for homeowners as a result. These are the top professionals in our field – those who are dedicated to making California one of the premier places to live in the nation, if not the entire world.”
Based in Laguna Hills, Calif., CACM is comprised of more than 3,000 California-based professionals from the community association management industry. Established in 1991, CACM is the only community association management organization to offer a California-only educational program leading to the designation of “Certified Community Association Manager” (CCAM®) for industry professionals.
