Duchess needs a Foster Home

The Ark of San Juan has rescued a lovely 5 yr old German shepherd who needs hip surgery. Unfortunately her surgery is on hold until a post-operative Foster Home is arranged. Duchess' recovery will require 6 weeks of rest in a quiet home. She will need someone strong enough  to help an 80 lb dog outside for potty breaks (using a sling); ideally someone who has experience with a dog who has rehabbed from a similar surgery.
